A meter-only connection measures production but cannot limit the connected turbine or control the generator. Direct turbine control requires a supported writable production-limit interface; custom turbine integrations can use Modbus TCP or Modbus RTU (RS485).

The IMT Si-RS485TC-T-MB measures sunlight in W/m² through RS485 / Modbus RTU. In the commissioning wizard, it is listed in the Energy meter category under manufacturer IMT.
