Digital outputs are not relay contacts. The Ultra's sink-type outputs switch their terminal to digital ground. An external 5-30 VDC supply and a load in series are required. Do not exceed 500 mA per channel.
Mount the unit vertically and keep its ventilation openings clear.
Allow at least 50 mm of free space around the unit where possible.
Select cabinet ventilation and SSD cooling to suit the ambient conditions and system load. The operating-temperature rating above requires 0.7 m/s airflow.
