Diehl-Ako monitoring

The documented connection for Diehl-Ako Platinum inverters is a local RS485 connection to the controller. This is not a manufacturer cloud-account connection.

What to prepare

Set up the connection

1. Follow the Diehl-Ako wiring instructions.
2. Use the Diehl-Ako connection in the controller configuration. The integration uses automatic device recognition, so individual inverter addresses do not need to be configured.
3. After commissioning, check the installation and connected inverter measurements in SmartgridX.

Diehl-Ako uses a manufacturer-specific serial protocol rather than Modbus. Do not configure this connection as a generic Modbus TCP device.
