Use a separate power meter as the reference for self-consumption optimization instead of the main grid meter. This lets you exclude a specific part of the installation from self-consumption control while keeping the import and export limits at the grid connection in place.
The two meters have different roles:
The solar sub-site branches off before the self-consumption meter. The battery, main solar installation and consumption are within the self-consumption scope.
For example, a solar sub-site may have a separate contract with a fixed export tariff. You can exclude that solar production from self-consumption optimization while the grid meter continues to guard the limits for the entire installation.
Open Advanced settings. On the settings page, scroll down to Advanced settings.
Enable the feature. Check the option to use another meter for self-consumption. This is only available when at least one additional meter is installed alongside the grid meter.
Select the self-consumption meter. Choose the additional power meter that defines the intended scope. The grid meter cannot be selected.
Save your changes. Click Save.
If the self-consumption meter is removed and re-added, this feature is automatically disabled.
