The EMS has a high data usage

Steps to undertake:

  • Check if the data saver is active. See also Data saver.
  • If you use external signals (see the tab "External data sources" in the Sunlight Group EMS), then the data usage might be higher than usual, depending on the data source. This is a side effect of the fact that most external signals are live and require a constant connection.
  • If the Sunlight Group EMS is on a 4G/5G connection, check if the data bundle is large enough. See also Data saver.
  • Check if there are no other devices on the same 4G/5G connection that might use a lot of data.
