Connect Smappee EV chargers through the local Flex (Genius II) MQTT gateway on TCP port 443.
The EMS connects to the Smappee Flex (Genius II) on the local network. This gateway exposes the connected EV chargers through its local MQTT broker. The controller reads charging states and energy measurements and sends charging commands through that connection.
Keep the default TCP port 443 for this connection. The Smappee EV integration uses MQTT over TLS on this port, not the generic MQTT TLS port 8883.
| Wizard setting | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Gateway address | Local IP address of the Smappee Flex (Genius II). |
| Communication protocol | MQTT over TLS |
| TCP connection port | 443 |
| MQTT username and password | Credentials generated for Local MQTT in Smappee. |
| Charger UUID | Optional. Leave blank to discover chargers communicating with this gateway. |
Control → Smappee Store.Manage, find the MQTT app and select Install Integration. These are credentials for the local Smappee gateway, generated in Smappee. They are not credentials for the Eniris MQTT broker. A separate connection to the Eniris broker uses credentials requested through the distributor.
443.EV charging station → Smappee.443.Charger UUID blank to discover chargers exposed by that gateway, or enter a specific UUID from Local MQTT in the Smappee Expert Portal. If a UUID copied from the mobile app does not find the expected charger, leave the field empty and run discovery again. The charger must be communicating with the gateway's MQTT broker to be discovered.
A single gateway can expose multiple connectors. Each connector appears as a separate child device and can be controlled independently while sharing the gateway connection.
