The Sunlight Group EMS and the KSTAR inverters communicate via RS485 or TCP.
Connect the EMS to the CT/METER Port using an RS-485 cable.
Connect the EMS to the METER/DRY Port (specifically the CT/METER pins).
Connecting the Sunlight Group EMS to the KSTAR inverter via TCP is possible by using the KSTAR Logger.
Connect the KSTAR WiFi/LAN dongle to the COM port. Connect both the KSTAR WiFi/LAN dongle and the Sunlight Group EMS to the same network.
The EMS communicates with the KSTAR Logger via Modbus TCP on port 502.
To ensure the EMS can control the inverter, the following settings must be configured on the inverter via the Screen or App.
For VPP control to function reliably, you must configure the following:
The following modes have higher priority than remote control and must be Disabled:
Ensure the communication port is set correctly:
Restart the battery inverter after changing the settings. BlueSpark E12KT-D22: This model features a simplified installation architecture that completely eliminates the need for an external parallel box
Because the battery goes into sleep mode at 10% SoC, we recommend setting the minimum state of charge level to at least 12%. When the battery goes into sleep mode, it cannot be controlled by the Sunlight Group EMS.
